Visitor Information

The Westmount Golf & Country Club is a private country club. Non-members can hold an event at the club, dine at the club or play golf at the club IF a member invites or sponsors them and provided that the host member is in attendance during the visit.

Cell Phones - Clubhouse

Cell phones shall at all times be set on vibrate, silent or manner mode only, while on Westmount property. Cell phone calls shall not be initiated, or continued after answering, in any area where food or drinks are served; cell phone conversations shall be permitted in other areas such as locker rooms, washrooms and parking lots, provided that common courtesy is exercised at all times.

Cell Phones – Golf Course/ Practice Facilities

Cellular Devices must, at all times, be on vibrate (manner) or on silent mode. Cellular Devices may not be used if they affect pace of play or if the conversation can be heard by others.

DRESS CODE

A.) CLUBHOUSE
i) Sports attire as outlined below is permitted.
ii) Members sponsoring meetings/ parties are responsible for the attire of their guests.
iii) Gentlemen, please remove hats, caps, visors.
iiii) Blue denim is not permitted.

B.) CURLING
i) No blue denim, rugger pants, track suits or sweatshirts.
ii) Soles of shoes must be cleaned before stepping onto ice surface.

C.) TENNIS
i) Only appropriate tennis wear and proper shoes (no heels, bars, or ribbed soles) are acceptable.
ii) Blue denim is not permitted.

D.) GOLF
(a) Women
Acceptable Dress:
• Shirts with sleeves with or without collars.
• Sleeveless shires with collar or mock turtleneck (or wide band).
• Well tailored golf shorts, capri pants or slacks.
• Golf skirts.
• Blue denim is not permitted.

(b) Men
Acceptable Dress:
• Golf shirt, turtleneck or mockneck collar.
• Tailored slacks or golf shorts of appropriate length with no outside patch pockets.
• Golf hats or visors.
• Blue denim is not permitted

SPECIAL NOTES:
i) Members are responsible for the attire of their guests.
ii) Sports dress regulations are the same for seniors and juniors.
iii) Special events may have special dress codes. Please consult notes regarding those events.
